Anthony Martial raised a few eyebrows on his return to training earlier this month. The Frenchman, who is often seen with a fresh trim, had decided to go bald ahead of the new season.
The 25-year-old missed this summer’s European Championship due to a long-term knee injury which has kept him out of action since March this year.
Thus, he spent his summer concentrating on being ready for the new season, and perhaps the new hairstyle will spark life into the former Monaco star after an indifferent campaign.

Despite deciding to get rid of his hair, he doesn’t seem to be a huge fan of the new look: “I don’t like it,” he told club media. “No, really, it’s just something I like to do before the start of a new season but of course, it will grow out a bit soon enough.”
