Brandon Williams eager to leave United on loan despite injury to left-back

Brandon Williams wants to leave Manchester United on loan in search of regular football.

At the age of 20, it’s perfectly understandable that Williams needs to put himself first and use this season to develop as a player – rather than sit on the bench waiting for the odd appearance.

Williams made just 14 appearances last season and has been linked with moves away from Old Trafford this summer. His contract at Old Trafford runs until 2024.

As of now, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw are seen are the primary full-backs at the club, although we can’t dismiss claims the club are eyeing a move for Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier.

With only five starts last season, Williams will be looking to have a greater impact this season whenever he ends up.
