Manchester United ready to sanction Anthony Martial sale after completing £73m signing

Manchester United are reportedly ready to let Anthony Martial leave the club for around £50 million after securing the signing of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund earlier this week.

It certainly looks like Sancho will be occupying the right flank next season, with Anthony Martial among a few challenging for a starting role on the left.

The Sancho deal finally came to a close with an announcement on Friday after United completed a transfer believed to be worth £73 million, as per BBC Sport.

Marcus Rashford is most likely to start when he’s fit and it will take an almighty turnaround from Martial to get back into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s good books.

The Frenchman was shocking last season and the Daily Star now claim United are ready to let the former AS Monaco man go for £50m.

While the report names Tottenham Hotspur as admirers, the report suggests the London club will be priced out by Martial’s wage demands.

  1. If Man United would let martial to go, I think they should’ve replace with the world class striker to seal that gap

  2. £50million who are they kidding? Honestly I wouldn’t want him on a free transfer.
I think Utd will be lucky to get £20-30 million and that’s been generous.
Still if Utd can move him on and get £40-50million for Pogba then that should free up money in the wage department and maybe allow a bid for Rice.

    1. Pogba only have a year contract Left,so you can’t compare it to martial with 3years contract remaining, and just 25years of age

  3. Who will buy him for that amount… He should be sold any which way and sell podga too to free up wages..

  4. sell martial he isn’t a fighter just a timid player.
bt united should get a serious and assured Central Defensive Midfielder like Ruben Neves or Franck Kessie. You will only be celebrating trophies.

  5. Frank Kessie is more box to box players, than aspecialist CDM like Ndidi, Jorginho an Allan of Everton. These are more specialist…
