Manchester United expecting formal approach for Paul Pogba from PSG

Manchester United are bracing themselves for an offer for Paul Pogba from Paris Saint-Germain as Mino Raiola continues personal talks with the Ligue 1 outfit, according to reports.

The French midfielder cost the Reds a whopping £89 million when they re-signed the World Cup winner from Juventus in 2016.

But with less than a year remaining on his current contract, United find themselves in a similar situation as Real Madrid with Raphael Varane, with PSG looking to strike a deal for around £43 million (via the Daily Telegraph).

Mark Ogden provides the latest update on Pogba for ESPN:

Pogba can leave on a Bosman next year which would be a costly blow to United. That’s why they must make their mind up quickly and decide what move is next.

His time back at the club has been tarnished by transfer speculations.

  1. To think we paid 90 million for POGBA,and talk of him and his Roadshow”moving to Paris for 40 or 50 mill, thats a hell of a hit on a player whos done nothing for us while hes been here.It just shows how his tenure has dropped in the soccer world with no one daft enough to pay full whack” for him.A one way ticket to Paris is what he needs !
