Anthony Martial has a big season ahead of him no matter where he’s playing his football.
The French forward was abysmal last season and it looks like he would struggle now to get into a fully fit United side.
Mundo Deportivo carry a round-up of where the biggest clubs around Europe stand on specific transfers and suggest United are still keen on signing Erling Haaland (bad news for the Bundesliga outfit who have just lost Jadon Sancho to the Red Devils in a £73 million switch).
It’s claimed that United would be prepared to include Martial in any offer for Haaland, but that Martial has been followed for a long time by La Liga giants Barcelona.
On top of that, it is claimed United are one of the clubs watching Antoine Griezmann with a keen eye. It’s a transfer story that has done the rounds for years and I would be shocked if United were serious about that deal this summer.
Haaland also seems unlikely this year.
Meanwhile, the Daily Star claim United are eager to sell Martial after completing the signing of Jadon Sancho.
