Dean Henderson had to be withdrawn from England’s Euro 2020 squad with a hip injury – one we believe he sustained towards the end of the season while playing for Manchester United.

The Manchester United goalkeeper looks set to be number one next season after being told he is wanted, but what does that mean for David de Gea – the highest paid keeper in the world?

Henderson took to Twitter this afternoon after his first training session back at United.

He tweeted: “Back at it!! Can’t wait for the new season!”

It certainly creates a sticky situation for the Red Devils but ultimately it comes down to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s call, and who he wants as his first choice keeper next season. It is unsustainable to go into another season with both, though.

Let us know in the comments section who you would like to see between the posts next season? Not forgetting Tom Heaton has come in this summer on a free.
