Paul Pogba wants to join Real Madrid in ‘dream’ move – report

After France’s shock exit from this summer’s European Championship, rumours surrounding Paul Pogba’s future are already starting to circulate on social media. The midfielder has failed to commit his long-term future and has only one year remaining on his contract at Manchester United.

The 28-year-old was France’s standout performer in the tournament and with the entire world watching, it’s likely that Pogba will not struggle to find suitors if he runs his contract down.

The upcoming season could be Pogba’s sixth at Manchester United but the majority have been blighted by controversy and speculation over his loyalty, with new reports claiming that Real Madrid is his dream club.

That’s according to Duncan Castles of the Transfer Window Podcast, as seen above, who claims that Manchester United’s number six dreams of a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The journalist claims that Pogba wants a move to Real Madrid and that the former Juventus star has been pursuing it ‘for a long time’. There are, however, some doubts over a move this summer with the Spanish club reportedly reluctant to working with Mino Raiola. According to the report, Real Madrid have advised Pogba to run his contract down and join on a free transfer next year instead.
