Manchester United are set to award Luke Shaw for his fine form with a new contract, according to reports. The left-back has emerged as a star player for both club and country this season and will now reap the benefits with fresh terms if reports are to be believed.
The 25-year-old was again making headlines this week after another public row with Jose Mourinho but proved his former manager wrong again with a fine display in England’s 2-0 win over Germany on Tuesday.
Shaw was involved in both of England’s goals and a contender for ‘Star of the Match’ but lost out to Harry Maguire, who was also a standout performer in the elevating victory.

According to Fabrizio Romano, as seen above, the defender is now set to be offered a new contract at the club. Fresh terms would cap off an incredible turnaround for Shaw, who was in danger of having his leg amputated after a leg break in 2015.
A conclusion to talks is not thought to be imminent but should the club tie Shaw down to a new deal, it would be yet another product of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s immaculate man-management.
