Gary Neville has revealed himself as a true Manchester United fan with his latest admission. The Jadon Sancho transfer saga is finally, according to reports, nearing an end, sparking the former United right-back to take his frustrations to Twitter.
Jadon Sancho has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United for over a year, with a transfer last summer collapsing after the Old Trafford hierarchy failed to match Borussia Dortmund’s €120m valuation of the winger.
But 12 months on, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel with the two sides reportedly close to a final agreement over a move – but it hasn’t been met by uncontrollable joy by Neville.
Manchester United Closing in on Sancho
Again!
A transfer should be a joy and a moment of excitement . I’ve never been more bored by a transfer in my life to the point I feel like he’s already signed and I want to know who is next already. Not the lads fault at all I should say!— Gary Neville (@GNev2) June 26, 2021
“I’ve never been more bored by a transfer in my life to the point I feel like he’s already signed and I want to know who is next already,” Neville said on Twitter.
The frustrations are shared by Manchester United supporters in masses and another collapse this summer could kickstart a fresh wave of protests against the ownership of the club.
