“It would be a good time to move” – Former Man Utd midfielder names the player Ole should sell

Manchester United’s transfer window is well and truly underway and the club is set to embark on one of their most active windows in recent history. Last year’s business left supporters underwhelmed but having finished second in the Premier League last season, they will be keen to close the gap to first even further.

We know all about the potential incomings at the club but reinforcements could mean that others are made to pave the way, with Anthony Martial seemingly a player in the danger zone.

“I think maybe the time is right for Anthony Martial to go on to pastures new,” former Manchester United midfielder Luke Chadwick told CaughtOffside.

“He’s a player who’s got all the attributes, but he’s never done it consistently for a whole season. If they get a good fee for Martial, who’s still got a lot of years left in him, it would be a good time for both parties for that move to happen.”

The Frenchman missed the last two months of the season after suffering a knee injury but will be sweating on his place when he returns for pre-season. Edinson Cavani’s remarkable end-of-season form earned him a new one-year extension and the club’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho will certainly complicate matters.

Marcus Rashford is believed to be ahead of Anthony Martial in the pecking order and Mason Greenwood would be unlucky to lose his place after a return to form.

Anthony Martial’s predicament at Manchester United is indeed deplorable. To be frank, he never really got a decent run of games for the nearly 5 years he has been at the club. Injuries also did not help, and when he was available he wasn’t selected for whatever reason. Again the people in charge of transfers, will not be able to get a decent sum for him, having not played regularly for the club in the just concluded season. So good luck to Manchester United@@##!!!??
