Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing another Portuguese-speaking player to the squad, adding to their plethora of Brazilian and Portuguese players. Fred, Alex Telles and Bruno Fernandes are all close friends and with Diogo Dalot’s return, Solskjaer could be set to steal Wolves star Ruben Neves from under Arsenal’s noses.

Despite transfer speculation still mainly focused on Jadon Sancho, there is suggestions that Solskjaer has set his sights on signing a midfielder this summer and according to reports, Wolves star Ruben Neves is a target.

The Portugal international has been linked with a move to Arsenal, but according to 90min, Manchester United remain ‘very keen’ on bringing the player to Old Trafford this summer.

The report claims that midfield has become an increasingly important position for the club to strengthen, and that Bruno Fernandes has already given a glowing reference to his international teammate.

Fernandes plays alongside the former Porto man for Portugal and the pair could line up together in their opening group game of Euro 2020 against France next week.
