Copa America in doubt affecting a number of Manchester United stars

Colombia has already been stripped of its co-host status and Argentina, on the other hand, is set to enter a strict lockdown this weekend.

Manchester United have several players eagerly awaiting news on the Copa America – Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Fred.

The Copa America was due to kick off in Argentina and Colombia on June 13th.

However, on Thursday a failed attempt was made to move the competition to November and Colombia were stripped of their co-host status as a result. Now there’s real doubt over whether the competition will take place this summer at all.

Colombia was scheduled to host the Copa America final this summer but mass protests in the country led to CONMEBOL coming to their conclusion over the country co-hosting the tournament.

Can it all take place in Argentina? I’m sure there will be other nations expressing an interest in hosting the tournament, but right now there’s lots of doubt surrounding the Copa America.
