Manchester United expect summer bids for AC Milan loanee Diogo Dalot

Manchester United reckon Diogo Dalot will be a man in demand this summer.

The right-back joined AC Milan on loan in October to get more minutes on the pitch.

He’s definitely achieved that after making 27 appearances for the Italian club this season. It will be difficult for him to return to United knowing he’s probably not any closer to tipping Aaron Wan-Bissaka for a place at right-back.

Wan-Bissaka would benefit from better competition than Dalot.

According to The Sun, United are expecting bids in the coming months for the talented 22-year-old. Further down the report, however, they mention that AC Milan could make a bid worth £15m for the Portuguese star.

Just last week former AC Milan star Mauro Tassotti told Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by The Sun: “Should Dalot be bought out? Technically, my opinion is positive.

“Someone like him should be in Milan team.”

It’s good to hear they believe in Dalot more than I do. Also, two very different standards.
