Is Jadon Sancho the right man for Manchester United?

As the summer transfer windows draws ever closer rumours have already started circulating linking Manchester United with a number of players — most notably Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

Today we take a look at whether or not the young winger would be the right man for Manchester United.

Having flourished at Borussia Dortmund over the last few seasons, Sancho has fast become one of the most exciting prospects in European football. His lightening fast pace combined with excellent dribbling and trickery on the ball makes him a real talent.

Of course, just like with any top player, Sancho wouldn’t come cheap but despite the likely high asking transfer fee I feel he would be worth every penny. There are few if any players in the same caliber as Sancho and should United manage to get him during the transfer window, Solskjaer would be getting a player who’s best days are ahead of him.

United haven’t really had an out and out winger at the club since Antonio Valencia. I know many who would argue Sancho is the perfect fit. Not only would he bring bags of pace and trickery to the flanks, he would also bring with him a bagful of goals and assists. Over the last 2 years, Sancho has netted over 30 goals for Dortmund and has provided a plenty of assists.

Manchester United’s squad isn’t a million miles away from competing for the Premier League title and should Solskjaer manage to get Sancho on board it would go a long way to completing the squad and make that dream of winning a 21st League next season closer to a reality.
