(Video) Bruno Fernandes hails Man United’s ‘calm’ second-half performance vs Roma

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has spoken out following his side’s 6-2 thrashing over Roma in Thursday’s Europa League semi-final.

Although United ran out easy winners in the end, the game’s first-half was far from comfortable for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils.

Having gone into the break 2-1 down, United knew they had to come out firing if they were to put themselves in the driving seat heading into next week’s second-leg.

Second-half goals from Edinson Cavani, Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and Fernandes himself ensured the game ended 6-2 and have more or less sealed their Italian opponent’s European exit.

Speaking after the game on Thursday night, Fernandes has hailed his teammate’s ‘calm’ approach to what turned out to be a truly stunning second-half performance.
