Stat proves Bruno Fernandes is the most lethal goalscorer in Europa League

Bruno Fernandes loves the Europa League. So much, I’m sure he’d love the Champions League more.

No player has scored more Europa League goals than Fernandes since his Manchester United debut in February 2018.

That’s according to Sky Sports, with the Portuguese midfielder having scored 19 goals in the competition.

This, in my opinion, makes Fernandes our biggest asset in our quest to win a trophy this season. The Europa League is our last chance to achieve that this season.

United now have one foot in the Europa League final after beating AS Roma 6-2 at Old Trafford tonight. The second-leg takes place in Rome next Thursday and it would take an almighty comeback for the Italians to progress.

Fernandes will have more opportunities to score in the competition as he looks to continue his amazing record in the competition.

Our Portuguese Magnifico netted twice against Roma in the 6-2 victory.
