Bruno Fernandes was sensational for Manchester United against Roma and continued his  form on social media after the demolition.

United blitzed Roma with five unanswered goals in a stunning second-half showing after inexplicably falling 2-1 behind at the break.

The Reds now have one foot in the Europa League final after their Italian opponents collapsed at Old Trafford.

Talisman Fernandes netted another two goals, including a glorious chip to complete a delightful move involving Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani.

The Portuguese playmaker was clearly thrilled with the result, and took to Twitter to joke about the performance at full-time.

Fernandes responded to United official account’s caption ‘Bruno woke up hungry’ with ‘but now I am full’ after the Reds fully capitalised by scoring six.

He also joked with United fans in his own post, tweeting ‘Hope you didn’t stop watching at half-time’.

Fernandes now has 42 goal involvements in just 45 starts this season, a remarkable record that highlights how indispensable he is to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United will be through to their first final under Solskjaer if they avoid conceding four goals in Rome next Thursday.
