Manchester United youth defender Marc Jurado has signed his professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old full-back put pen to paper on a new long-term deal after he joined the club from Barcelona in the summer.
It remains to be seen — well, over the coming years — how Brexit truly impacts top football clubs in the UK, who have previously recruited players throughout Europe, but Jurado was a player the Red Devils go across the line just in time.
After rejecting a contract at Barcelona, as per the Daily Star, Jurado set out for life in Manchester which is a sign that young players can see a route into the first team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has put a lot of trust in academy graduates since becoming first-team manager.
He took to Instagram to confirm his first professional deal at United:

Jurado has featured heavily for the U18s this season and it bodes well that they have a chance to win the U18 Premier League title this season — United are three points clear of rivals Man City and City, though the former have two games in-hand.
Congrats to young Jurado.
