The perfect start.
Manchester United have taken the lead after six minutes against Granada to all but end the Europa League quarter-final tie as a contest.
Edinson Cavani has picked up where he ended against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday with a fine left-footed volley into the bottom corner.
It’s the veteran goalscorer’s 50th goal in European competition, a superb achievement for one of this generations’s greatest strikers.
The goal means Granada now have to score three unanswered goals to go through on away goals.
Cavani’s volley was preceded by great interplay from United; Alex Telles picked out captain Paul Pogba, who showed superb awareness to flick a header back to the Uruguayan.
