David de Gea

Not overly troubled but good hands to deny Diaz and Herrera. Could play important role as United enter final four. 7

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Typically committed in the challenge and almost flawless defensively. 7

Axel Tuanzebe

Comfortable night made easier by wasteful Granada. Enjoyed start in rare absence of suspended Maguire. 6

Victor Lindelof

Lead back four in Maguire’s absence and another solid showing from the Swede. 6

 Alex Telles

Lovely ball to Pogba initiated opener and late cross forced own goal. 6

Fred

Might be able to score from six yards but can’t from 26. Gave the ball away too often. 5

Nemanja Matic

Started brightly with decisive passes between the lines. Efficient on a routine night for the Serb. 7

Bruno Fernandes

Almost scored majestic goal and found Cavani with glorious cross after break. Belatedly substituted for Mata. 7

Paul Pogba

Delight to watch at times and brilliant improvised to set up Cavani. Sensibly substituted at pause after booking. 8

Mason Greenwood

Electric when given space to run into and could have scored from Van de Beek’s cross. 6

Edinson Cavani

Clinical finish his 50th in European competition, an outstanding achievement. Not always tidy in possession but movement admirable and will be important in semi-finals. 7

Substitutes

Donny van de Beek

Surely frustrated not to start but played through middle when chance came. Almost scored first goal since August and set up Greenwood for good chance. 6

Daniel James

Juan Mata

N/A

Brandon Williams

N/A

Amad

Surely fouled through on goal. N/A
