Man United add £30m rated Wolves midfielder to summer shortlist

According to recent reports, Manchester United have added Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves to their summer shortlist.

Neves, 24, joined Wolves in 2017 following a £16m move from Porto.

After helping the Midlands side back to the Premier League in his opening season, Neves has remained a mainstay in Nuno Espirito-Santo’s side since.

However, as the club are set to undergo a change in operations, the club’s parent company Fosun are apparently keen to restructure – although see to remain owners, super-agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly been instructed to find buyers for some of the side’s players.

That’s according to 90min, who report that should an offer in excess of £30m come in for Neves, Wolves will sanction a move.

It has been claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on Neves and while the central midfield position is not a priority, a summer move could certainly be explored.

The talented midfielder is expected to have several offers on the table come the summer, both from England and abroad.

Neves has featured in 170 matches for Wolves, in all competitions and has directly contributed to 30 goals.
