Solskjaer has better win success rate v Guardiola than Klopp and Mourinho

The PE Teacher, eh?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deserves a lot of credit. By no means was he the popular choice to replace Jose Mourinho, but he came in and lifted the dressing room before giving us something to sing about.

I know the singing these days is limited but one day we’ll be back in the stands getting behind the team.

The team did us proud at the Etihad earlier.

Everyone put in a shift but defence was sublime. It’s not often we’ve been able to say that about this side, and maybe some of the improvements stem from having a more vocal goalkeeper behind the defence?

We still need some tweaking but the biggest point I wanted to make was that nobody gave us a chance going into the game. The same way so many don’t want to give Solskjaer a chance, but he is turning things around and we are better for it.

Today saw us get a brilliant result. A well earned one after a going through a tough patch and hopefully we’ll see more of the game in the upcoming fixtures.

The good folk at WhoScored dropped an interesting stat after the match to display Solskjaer’s impressive record against Pep Guardiola. Only Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho have won more times against the former Barcelona manager.

Solskjaer has the best win success rate out of the three with 50% (Klopp 43%, Mourinho 28%).
