Man United handed boost in pursuit of Erling Haaland has star rules out move to Chelsea

According to SportWitness via this week’s edition of German newspaper SportBild, Borussia Dortmund’s world-class striker Erling Haaland has ruled Chelsea out of the running to secure his signature.

The outlet’s report claims Chelsea have ‘little chance of signing’ the prolific striker as he only has eyes for an ‘absolute top club’.

After racking up an eye-watering 43 goals and 11 assists in just his first 45 appearances, in all competitions for the Black and Yellow, Haaland is well on his way to becoming the sport’s next big superstar.

The striker’s inspired form has naturally seen him linked with a big move, with some of Europe’s biggest clubs all rumoured to be in the hunt.

Interestingly, in one of their online reports, Bild state that the Dortmund forward is only interested in joining one of six clubs – Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

United have been relentlessly linked with the 20-year-old following his previous connections to current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The pair, who worked together whilst at FK Molde, have rumoured to enjoy another successful partnership – This time, together at Old Trafford.

It has been claimed that Haaland could be available this summer for around £86m.
