Gary Neville perfectly sums up Luke Shaw with eight-word statement

Former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville has perfectly summed current left-back Luke Shaw up, using just eight words.

The ex-Red Devil defender recently took to his social media to answer a fan who asked what his thoughts are on Shaw’s current form.

Shaw, 25, is arguably enjoying his finest season yet in a United shirt.

After struggling to find his best form following a series of unfortunate injuries, including a horrendous double leg break back in 2015, the well-rounded defender finally appears to have put his worst days behind him.

So far this season, Shaw has featured in 30 matches, in all competitions, with his fine performances ensuring new-signing Alex Telles is resigned to a space on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s bench.

Although the industrious full-back has managed just six assists, in all competitions, it cannot be understated that Shaw is among the Premier League’s top chance creators.

When asked for how he rates Shaw, United legend, turned footballing pundit Neville wrote: “Stay fit and he’s a fantastic left back!”

Although straight and quick to the point, Neville’s comment will undoubtedly perfectly echo exactly how most United fans feel.

Given the current debate surrounding whether or not the Englishman deserves a crack at going to the Euros in the summer, surely a fine end to the season will only amplify his position with Gareth Southgate.

Does Shaw deserve to named in Southgate’s England squad for the Euros? – Let us know in the comments.
