(Video) Solskjaer heaps praise on Shaw and Wan-Bissaka amid possible England call-ups

Speaking ahead of his side’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has heaped the praise on his English full-backs, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Both defenders have been excellent form this season with Shaw putting in particularly impressive performances.

Despite his obvious talent, Wan-Bissaka, unlike Shaw, has failed to rack up any senior appearances for his country.

However, with the summer Euros just a matter of weeks months away, there has been recent speculation the 23-year-old could be an outsider to receive an international call-up.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Solskjaer, when asked about the possibility of Wan-Bissaka receiving a phone call from England manager Gareth Southgate, was quick to pile the praise on.

“I don’t want to do Gareth’s job,” Solskjaer said. “But I feel both my full-backs have done really well. I’ve been really pleased with them.

“The development in the two of them and the improvement has been there to see.

“So Gareth has got good options if he fancies, but I’m not going to say if they should or shouldn’t [go to the Euros].”
