Two reported Man Utd targets link up for stunning goal in entertaining Champions League clash

Although I highly doubt Manchester United will sign both Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho in the summer, there are a lot of Reds out there wishful of seeing both Borussia Dortmund stars playing together in a United shirt one day.

They got a glimpse of what both players can do last night as Borussia Dortmund beat Sevilla 3-2 away from home in the first-leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash.

Haaland picked up all the headlines because he was the scorer of two goals and assisted Mahmoud Dahoud for Dortmund’s first of the night, but we’re going to focus on the goal that involved two Manchester United targets playing for the Bundesliga side.

Just eight minutes after playing a key role in Dortmund’s first goal against Sevilla, Haaland dropped deep to collect the ball before driving forward down the middle before slipping it to Jadon Sancho once he approached the box.

Sancho lobbed the ball through to the rushing Norwegian who smashed the ball into the back of the net.

The Athletic have named United, Man City, Chelsea and Real Madrid as clubs interested in the striker’s signature, whereas The Sun claim United will not give up on Sancho after missing out on signing him last summer.
