Aston Villa preparing big money pay-rise for Man United target Jack Grealish

Aston Villa are reportedly preparing to offer star midfielder Jack Grealish a bumper new pay-rise which would see him become one of the league’s highest earners.

Grealish, 25, is a self-confessed Villa fan and after securing the club’s place in England’s top-flight on the final day of last season, the Midlands born and bred playmaker is reportedly set for a huge payday.

According to a recent report from 90min, the Villain’s hierarchy are preparing to offer Grealish a new deal as well as begin negotiations with Chelsea over a permanent move for Ross Barkley.

Grealish’s fine-form this season which has seen him contribute to 16 Premier League goals in just 21 appearances is arguably the main reason why the side are competing for a shock European place.

Despite only signing a new deal last summer, the Englishman is set to be offered a much improved deal which would undoubtedly pump up his current £120,000-per week wages.

Grealish has been a long-standing transfer target for United as well as Manchester City, however, in an attempt to retain their star-man, Villa are hoping they can tempt Grealish to stay.

Do you think Grealish will sign on the dotted line? – Let us know in the comments.
