Video: ‘Bad champions’ – Roy Keane slams Liverpool after crushing defeat to Man City

Roy Keane labelled Liverpool ‘bad champions’ after their decisive 4-1 home defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League.

Liverpool needed victory over Pep Guardiola’s side to maintain hopes of retaining their title but now sit 10 points behind the Blues having played a game more.

City were helped by two glaring errors in distribution from Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson but were well worthy of their triumph at Anfield as they tightened their grip at the top of the Premier League.

United great Keane did not mince his words when criticising Liverpool’s mentality this season after another abject defeat.

Keane says that he never has had the impression that Liverpool have had the motivation to repeat last season’s feat of domestic dominance.

Liverpool have now been beaten in their last three home games and look a shadow of the side that won the league by 18 points last season.

City’s significant win won’t ease pains for Manchester United supporters after Everton snatched a draw at the death at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men now sit five points behind City and have played one more game.
