Man United’s stance on loaning Facundo Pellistri out

Manchester United are reportedly weighing-up where to send new-signing Facundo Pellistri out on loan.

Pellistri, 19, joined United on deadline day during last summer’s transfer window, as per ManUtd.

After boasting a decent record with South American side CA Penarol, which included six goal contributions in 37 games, Pellistri emerged as a highly-rated youngster.

In light of Pellistri’s dream move to Old Trafford, the club opted to introduce the teenager to life in England by utilising him in the club’s under-23s squad.

Since playing with the Red Devils’ youth side, Pellistri has racked-up one assist and three goals in his first eight appearances, in all competitions.

However, in an attempt to continue the youngster’s impressive development, according to The Athletic, the club’s hierarchy are now considering loaning him out.

The Athletic claim that a loan move to La Liga may prove to be more beneficial to the 19-year-old despite having offers from the Championship.

The club reportedly have concerns that the notoriously physical Championship may not be the best league for the youngster to develop in, especially when he only arrived in England six-months ago.

One club which has been mentioned when it comes to securing Pellistri on a short-term loan is Spanish side Celta Vigo.
