Probable Manchester United XI vs Fulham – Bailly returns, no rest for Fernandes

Stretty News understands Eric Bailly will return to the Manchester United line-up tonight against Fulham.

There has been a lot of talk about players needing rests — most notably Bruno Fernandes — but we understand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has decided to start the Portuguese midfielder again tonight.

Fernandes looked shattered at Anfield on Sunday but he’s not a player who enjoys a rest. He will be looking to make up for his performance against the Scousers with goals or assists at Craven Cottage.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw will start in their full-back roles, while Bailly returns to partnered skipper Harry Maguire at centre-back.

It looks like a midfield trio of Fred, Paul Pogba and Fernandes.

Up front, we believe Edinson Cavani starts with Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.

In a case of don’t shoot the messenger, we were right with our pre-announced XI at the weekend when Solskjaer dropped Bailly in place of Victor Lindelof, and trust our sources to get it right again this time round.

The match kicks-off at 8.15pm and the confirmed line-up should be announced by 7.15pm.
