Confirmed Man Utd XI to face Fulham: Eric Bailly, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood start

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has included Eric Bailly, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood in his Manchester United starting lineup against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

United can return top of the Premier League this evening after Leicester reached the summit with a 2-0 victory over Chelsea at the King Power Stadium last night.

But they come up against a side rejuvenated by Scott Parker in recent weeks and a tough test awaits.

Fulham have conceded just three goals in their last six games and recently held Tottenham to a draw seven days ago.

Solskjaer has made three changes to the side that started the goalless draw with Liverpool on Sunday for this evening’s clash.

Bailly returns in central defence alongside captain Harry Maguire with Victor Lindelof omitted from the squad entirely.

Paul Pogba resumes a more familiar position in the midfield axis with Fred with Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic waiting to make impacts from the bench.

Bruno Fernandes is indispensable under Solskjaer and retains his place at the apex despite concerns of fatigue within the fanbase.

That means Donny van de Beek is still not afforded a start in a league game with the Dutchman again on the bench this evening.

Anthony Martial retains his place on the left-flank and is joined in a front three by Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood.

Marcus Rashford is seldom left out of Solskjaer’s starting lineup but drops to the bench after a poor showing against Liverpool.
