Radio host thinks Liverpool fans should be worried with United coming to town

TalkSPORT host Andy Goldstein claims Liverpool fans should be “worried” following Manchester United’s recent form.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done something no Manchester United manager has managed since Sir Alex Ferguson, by leading the Red Devils to the top of the Premier League in January.

We travel to Anfield on Sunday three points clear of Liverpool in 2nd place, in what will be a huge test for Solskjaer.

Arguably his biggest yet.

Goldstein spoke some truths on talkSPORT, saying: “They’re [Liverpool] not three points off United now, and if City win their two games in hand — and they will, because City look fantastic — they’ll go two points behind City.

“Liverpool fans should be worried because United will now go to that game with no pressure whatsoever, with an unbelievable away record in the league will quite happily sit, park the bus and take a point.”

Stretty News verdict

There’s definitely more pressure on Liverpool going into the match — even though they’re going into it with home advantage, which admittedly doesn’t matter with United being so strong on the road this season.

But Liverpool are also clinging onto their amazing home record — unbeaten at Anfield in the league since April 2017.

That should give our lads extra encouragement to win on Sunday, not that they should need any!

  1. Its time the Scouse were beaten on their own patch, they cant keep this record up forever,UTD would gladly take a point, but we all know its to get 3 points and keep at the top if possible. We need to battle and give Lpool a proper game for a change. We can get the win with the team that played at Burnley, that means NO Fred, or Lindelof and we should be okay,”20 times 20″ times””
