Jamie Redknapp sang Bruno Fernandes’ praises on Sky Sports before Burnley v Manchester United kicks off.
The Sky Sports pundit has been impressed by Bruno Fernandes since his arrival one year ago, and he’s right in saying the Portuguese star has contributed to Manchester United’s clear improvement in the Premier League.
Redknapp says Fernandes has come in and expected more of the players around him – raising everyone’s game in the squad — and is the reason why United look closer than they did to Liverpool last season.
That’s the ultimate praise a new signing can get and Fernandes starts tonight’s game against Burnley at Turf Moor.

The former Liverpool and Tottenham player said: “He’s single-handedly changed the mentality.”
Nobody can deny that and it’s nice to see Fernandes get the recognition he deserves.
I wouldn’t rule him out from scoring tonight as United look to go three points clear on top of the Premier League.
