Video: Solskjaer says McTominay has DNA of Manchester United in him

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reflected on Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Watford in the FA Cup third-round.

The win books Manchester United’s place in the fourth-round of the competition, thanks to a headed goal scored by Scott McTominay at the very beginning.

United managed to control the game from that point and didn’t concede many dangerous chances at the other end. Solskjaer will be happy with the performance too, considering he many plenty of changes to the line-up and got the result he would’ve wanted.

Solskjaer was asked after the match about his decision to give the captain’s armband to McTominay — after naming Harry Maguire on the bench (the England centre-back replaced Eric Bailly before half-time and took back his armband). 😂

Explaining his decision, Solskjaer shared his view that McTominay is a header with ‘Manchester United DNA’ in him.
