Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba came within inches of scoring what would have been one of the goals of the season during Wednesday’s match against PSG.
Pogba, 27, was introduced into the game when his side were losing 2-1 and after a recent spell on the sidelines, the Frenchman nearly stole all the headlines.
Having come on in place of Marcus Rashford with 15-minutes to go, Pogba was on the pitch for just five-minutes before unleashing a rocket of a volley from the edge of PSG’s box.
Unfortunately for both Pogba and the United faithful, the 27-year-old’s thunderbolt went agonisingly over the bar, but what an effort it was.
