Amad Diallo made his first appearance in the UEFA Champions League tonight for Atalanta as he prepares for his New Year move to Manchester United after signing for the Reds in the summer.
Diallo, 18, hasn’t played much this season so it’s positive see him getting some minutes under his belt, at the weekend against Hellas Verona too.
Manchester United fans will enjoy Diallo’s substitute display against FC Midtjylland as he replaced Luis Muriel in the 68th minute of the match which ended 1-1.
In the footage below you will see the wide man drive towards goal and show willingness to set up his team-mates. Not to forget some silky step-overs.

His link-up play and dribbling skills will be welcome at Old Trafford.
It’s been a long time since we’ve had a proper right winger in the side and he should give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer another favourable option to have in the squad.
Hopefully we won’t have any issues sorting his work permit…
The FA announced earlier that Premier League clubs will be barred from signing overseas Under-18 players due to post-Brexit rules.
@ManUnitedZone_ provided some stats from Diallo’s sub cameo tonight in the Champions League.

Atalanta have yet to secure their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League and face an Ajax side in desperate need of a win in their final group stage fixture.
All will come down to that game for the Serie A outfit.
