Monaco youngster admits he dreams of playing for Man United

AS Monaco youngster Anthony Musaba has admitted that playing for either Manchester United or Real Madrid would be his ‘ultimate dream’.

Musaba, 19, joined AS Monaco earlier this summer from Dutch side NEC Nijmegen in a transfer which cost the Ligue 1 side just £2.25m, as per Transfermarkt.

In light of his impressive move to the club who once accommodated the likes of Thomas Lemar, Bernardo Silva and Kylian Mbappe, Musaba also has dreams of becoming one of the sport’s biggest talents.

Despite joining AS Monaco earlier this year, the 19-year-old has already been loaned out Belgian side Cercle Brugge in an attempt to allow the teenager to continue his impressive development.

However, in a recent revealing interview with Voetbal Primeur (as quoted by Sports Witness), AS Monaco’s new youngster has already opened up on his future plans.

“AS Monaco has experience in training and bringing through young players,”  Musaba told Voetbal Primeur.

“A lot of young people breakthrough at Monaco and then have a great career. That is, of course, my dream to break through and to be able to and continue to play at a high level.

“The first goal after this season is to return to Monaco and breakthrough there.

“My ultimate dream is to be able to play at Wembley one day. The English league is my favourite competition.

“Manchester United and Real Madrid are my favourite teams. That would be the ultimate dream.”

Whilst on loan with Cercle Brugge this season, Musaba has already been directly involved in three goals in eight appearances.
