In the 54th minute of Manchester United’s Premier League tie against Newcastle, the Red Devils were awarded a glorious opportunity to take the lead from the spot.
In a frankly soft call that we’d be livid to accept if it was against us, Jamal Lewis was adjudged to have fouled Marcus Rashford after a clever touch from our academy graduate.
Bruno Fernandes stepped up to take the spot-kick, but weirdly abandoned his usual hop-skip technique for a more traditional run up.
Karl Darlow saw it all coming and made a fantastic save to deny us the chance from taking the lead.

Perhaps this will see Marcus Rashford restored as the spot-kick taker in the future.
