Dean Henderson is doing his bit to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer something to think about.

In the goalkeeper’s first two appearances for the club’s first-team he has managed to keep as many clean sheets, as revealed at full-time tonight by Statman Dave.

Manchester United managed their second win at the Amex Stadium against Brighton in just five days. Goals from Scott McTominay, man of the match Juan Mata and Paul Pogba sealed the win for the red Devils to book United’s place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

David de Gea didn’t have the best campaign last season, while Henderson proved to be one of the Premier League’s most outstanding goalkeepers.

Henderson has made it clear he hasn’t returned to United to warm the bench. He wants to push for the No. 1 spot and he’s doing everything he can to take it from De Gea.

He pulled off some brilliant saves tonight against Brighton and he’s definitely giving Solskjaer something to think about.
