(Video) Transfer update: Man United working on Sancho alternative but moves for two players ruled out

Manchester United are set for one heck of a busy week as the summer transfer window’s deadline day next Monday edges closer.

The Reds could be set for several incomings and departures in the next seven days with the likes of Andreas Pereira, Chris Smalling, Sergio Romero and Daniel James all in contention to depart United, either in permanent or loan moves.

Elsewhere, number-one target Jadon Sancho remains a focal point with the United hierarchy refusing to give-up in their pursuit for the talented winger.

However, a recent update from Sky Sports’ leading reporter James Cooper claims that the Reds are beginning to make moves for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele who remains an alternative option.

Despite the suggestions that United could still add summer additions to their squad, two players who reportedly will not be making a switch to Old Trafford are Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik and Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
