Brighton star Leandro Trossard frustrated after dramatic Manchester United win

Leandro Trossard impressed for Brighton today, but he was not on the winning side.

“We had a lot of chances and to lose like that is the worst feeling you can get in a game,” Trossard said after the match, as per Manchester Evening News. “We played really good today.

“It was one of those days, the ball didn’t want to go in. We need to take the positives out of the game.

“It is always hard to concede a penalty, it’s a really tough one.”

It’s a blow for Brighton to take I’m sure Graham Potter is happy with his players’ performance against a side like United.

There was no debate over the penalty given at the end, which Bruno Fernandes converted, but that doesn’t mean we escaped VAR-related drama.

The referee blew for the final whistle and everyone thought the game had ended, but he had to check VAR and rescinded his decision to call time on the match.

Trossard is understandably frustrated after the match. The Belgian hit the woodwork three times during the match, while Brighton registered a total of five attempts that hit the post.

He looks a very good player.
