Amad Traore not joining Manchester United, claims Fabrizio Romano

We’ve lost count on the amount of Jadon Sancho alternatives that are in the transfer market this summer.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move to sign the Borussia Dortmund sensation, but with reported losses forcing the Glazers to tighten their purse more than ever a deal seems unlikely.

It’s not dead in the water by any means.

The Sun claims United are planning at least two more signings before the transfer window ends, with a £90m bid being prepared for Sancho.

One right-winger linked to Old Trafford this summer is Atalanta’s Amad Traore, but the Manchester Evening News are very eager to point out that a potential move ‘is not seen as an alternative to Jadon Sancho’ which is interesting.

But respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has played down talk that the 18-year-old could join United this summer. Instead he claims Traore is joining fellow Serie A side Parma.

Who else can we target for the right flank then?

Traore made less than a handful appearances for Atalanta last season as he was seen as a prospect coming through.

He still managed to score a goal and attract attention (as far as reports are concerned) from one of the biggest clubs in the world.

I’m sure Traore will remain on United’s radar even if he joins Parma.
