Manchester United under-23s are currently embroiled in a heated affair with arch-rivals Liverpool under-23s in a game which so far has seen eight goals and two red cards.
Liverpool’s Leighton Clarke and United’s Shola Shoretire have both seen red on the hour mark after a poorly timed challenge saw Clarke dismissed with the United forward also dismissed for his retaliation.
United’s youngsters currently trail 5-3 in a heated game which looks set to end in defeat for the youthful Red Devils.
Liverpool under-23s are half an hour away from extending their lead at the top of the Premier League 2 table with United’s young guns set to remain in the bottom half.
