Manchester United will table a £90m bid for Jadon Sancho next week, according to the Mirror.
The sum is reportedly £75m up front with a further £15m in add-ons as the Red Devils proposed a take-it-or-leave-it offer.
Ed Woodward is set to inform Borussia Dortmund that there will be no negotiating over the fee or structure of the deal — this is how United plan to move forward.
Sancho has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford and the October 5 deadline is fast approaching, and the Mirror add that “United chiefs are confident of getting the deal over the line”.
Dortmund have demanded a fee of £120m all this, as per, so there is no guarantee that BVB will agree to United’s potential offer next week.
Why leave it so late, though? What was stopping United doing this last month? A lot of news outlets said earlier this summer that Dortmund gave the Reds an August 10 deadline to get the deal done.
United take on Brighton this weekend as they look to take three points for the first time this season and losing 3-1 at home to Crystal Palace in their opening game of the campaign.
