Video: Brilliant alternate view of classic Man Utd counter-attack goal v Luton Town

Manchester United’s second goal against Luton Town in the Carabao Cup tie at Kenilworth Road will almost certainly not get the credit it deserves. 

United struggled in stages against resolute Championship opposition but sealed their progression thanks to goals from Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.

The tie was over as a contest shortly after the arrival of substitutes Rashford and Greenwood who both made instant impacts.

And it was Rashford’s goal that was particularly pleasing for United fans who were treated to a blistering counter-attack with some stunning interplay.

Fred, Bruno Fernandes and Greenwood were all involved before the teenage sensation slid in Rashford expertly who finished with great composure.

Solskjaer’s side’s football was slow and ineffective at times against Luton but this was goal was reminiscent of a classic United counter-attack.
