Manchester United face a lower-league Carabao Cup test against Luton Town.
Dean Henderson and Donny van de Beek make their first competitive starts as Manchester United players tonight in the League Cup.
In front of Henderson, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opted for a back four with three changes from Saturday’s 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams are our starting full-backs, while Eric Bailly partners Harry Maguire.
Fred and Nemanja Matic will be expected to protect that defence and that should allow Van de Beek to roam around the pitch and pull the strings in United’s attack.
Tonight’s front three consists of Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Odion Ighalo. Let’s hope they can provide the Nigerian with enough service.

The Hatters have won all four of their fixtures so far this season and they will be aiming to cause a cup upset tonight. They haven’t reached the fourth round of the League Cup since 2007-08.
Luton Town vs Manchester United will be live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event from 8pm; kick-off at 8.15pm.
