The harsh reality behind Man United’s Jadon Sancho transfer stance

Manchester United reportedly run the risk of being backed into a corner in their lengthy pursuit for number-one target Jadon Sancho.

Sancho, 20, has been the Reds’ main summer priority since, well, what feels like the beginning of time, however, despite serious interest, talks between both United and Borussia Dortmund have failed to reach a breakthrough.

Dortmund’s young winger enjoyed a monumental rise to the forefront of European football after a truly staggering break-out campaign last time out in a season which saw him be directly involved in 40 goals in just 44 appearances across all competitions.

The ongoing transfer saga has been drawn out and in some cases over the top to the point where United fans are becoming tired of hearing the words ‘Sancho to United’.

Despite rightful frustrations, the latest development in United’s ongoing pursuit for Sancho comes from reporter Kevin Hatchard who claims that sources close to Dortmund have made it known that in light of the Reds’ crushing 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace earlier today they could demand even more than the original £108m for their talented star-man, Sancho.

This does not make for pleasant reading.
