Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has taken to his personal social media to post a photograph from his side’s pre-season friendly against Aston Villa hinting that he is fully prepared for the Reds’ Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on September 19.
Lingard, 27, has found himself limited with his number of first-team opportunities in recent weeks after only featuring twice in the Premier League from the bench since the sport restarted in June.
However, despite Lingard’s lack of game-time he was awarded with a start against Aston Villa in his side’s pre-season friendly last Saturday.
Lingard has since taken to his social media to post a photograph from Saturday’s game hinting that he could be set to feature against Crystal Palace next weekend with the caption “90 mins in the tank. Ready for next weekend.”
