Dylan Levitt’s impressive stats from composed Wales debut in Nations League

Manchester United fans were impressed by Dylan Levitt’s performance on debut for Wales in their 1-0 UEFA Nations League victory over Finland in Helsinki.

Levitt, 19, became the 16th player handed his senior international debut by Wales boss Ryan Giggs and he looked composed throughout.

The United starlet was thrown into the mix alongside Bristol City’s Joe Morrell in a youthful midfield but held his own as he kept things ticking over in the middle of the park.

Levitt has often been used as the metronome through United’s academy sides and he showed on Thursday evening that he has the potential to anchor the Wales midfield for years to come.

The teenager had a solid passing accuracy of 84%, long passing accuracy of 83% and did not look fazed on the international stage.

Levitt will be targeting a place in Giggs’ first-team for the delayed European Championships next summer and a loan move looks inevitable after he made just one appearance for United under Solskjaer in the 2019/20 season.

Manchester Evening News report that the youngster will leave on loan this summer and is currently assessing his options after being offered temporary moves by a number of different clubs.

Levitt is one for the future at Old Trafford and we will eagerly follow his next step if he does indeed complete a loan move in this summer’s transfer window.
