Manchester United’s Tahith Chong has started life with a bang in Germany with his loan club Werder Bremen. The youngster played a full 90-minutes against Groningen in a pre-season friendly earlier today which saw his new club win 4-0. Chong managed to put himself on the scoresheet after he smashed home a great finish after executing a marauding run through the heart of the Dutch side’s defence.
Chong, 20, was loaned out to Werder Bremen earlier this summer and will remain with the Bundesliga outfit for the duration of the 2020-21 season.
Life in Germany could not have started better for the youngster who scored in his side’s pre-season friendly earlier today. The exciting talent will be hopeful of continuing his impressive early form as he looks to cement a place in United’s first-team in the near future.
